Hotel Info – Holiday Inn Express is the official hotel for the POI Tournament. Normal rate is
130.95 a night and they will give the teams rooms for 99.95 a night.

What you need to do is call (308) 234-8100 and ask for the POI Hockey tourney rate... If they
have any problems have them ask for the manager and he will get it straighten out..

Please book your rooms ASAP because the rooms will fill up because there is a wrestling
tourney in town that weekend as well.

Ringer Rule – This is a low to mid level novice tournament. If a dispute of a player’s skill set
is questions then a committee will evaluate the player in question. If they are determined
ineligible for the tournament they will not be allowed to play in future tournament games and
all points that they scored will be removed from past games.

Food/Drink – No outside food or drink will be allowed in the arena. There will be a concession
stand open during the tournament, a sports bar open inside the arena (the Storm Shelter), and
a $6 meal deal consisting of a sloppy joe, chips, and pop.

Captains Meeting – At 5:00pm on Friday all captains need to attend a meeting at the arena to pick
up team packets and go over basic information.

Specific Deadlines - 1st 8 teams to register and pay will get a spot in the tournament.
Registration deadline is Feb. 24. Pay one payment of $750 via PayPal on the website or send a
cashiers check. No refunds will be given after registration deadline.

Clock Information – 3 – 15 minute meetings, period 1 & 2 with no stop clock and period 3 with
stop clock

Trophy – A trophy will be awarded to the first place team and the runner up team.

Basic Game Information - All teams will play on Friday. 1st game on Saturday will be at
9:00AM. A schedule will be posted in the coming weeks.

After Parties – Friday night will be at the Chicken Coop and Saturday will be at Old Chicago

TCSHL will not be liable for any injuries and all players will be required to sign waivers before they
enter the ice.
